My grandparents refuse to be part of the modern world, living in the past and not connecting with the present. Oswald House is located in a small village where time appears to have stopped. Since their marriage in 1955 Oswald House became their home. Over time with illness and age it is now the only world they know as they rarely cross their own doorstep. They find themselves with nothing to do and all the time in the world. Following their daily routines and the banal occurrences of everyday life i am documenting what it is like to grow old together within this environment, one where there is little conversation but being comfortable in their silence. Behind the camera i am dealing with my fear of growing old but my hopes of having someone by my side when that time comes. Exploring the themes of memory and time, and the eventual acceptance of old age.
